With ambitious goals of achieving 3 million tonnes of hydrogen supply by 2030 and 20 million tonnes by 2050, Japan has committed to a robust policy framework, including the Basic Hydrogen Strategy, and allocated ¥1 trillion ($7.5 billion) to drive innovation and development in this sector. As a result, Japan has become one of the most attractive regions for green hydrogen investments.
